TRAIN NEWS

Hey everybody! just wanted to drop a line to keep you posted on what's going on in the Train world. Pat has decided to record a solo CD this year. he plans to release it later this summer, tour a bit, and then return to Train. the other band members, including myself, support his decision and wish him the best of luck. after all, a crappy solo release won't help Train one bit! Go Pat! in the meantime, i am focused on finishing my novel with hopes of having it published in early 2008. i'm very excited about how the book is progressing so far and can't wait to share some of it with you. i am planning to host an online chat sometime soon, to answer questions about the band and the book. i will post a bulletin with the specifics when i get it together and will look forward to speaking with all of you then. talk to you soon...

Jimmy,
You're such an incredible, down-to-earth person and I can't get over how well you relate to your fans. That's one of the reasons why we love and admire you so much. (Your charisma and awesome guitar-playing help, too!!!). Thanks so much for sharing your extraordinary talents with me and my family. Your band's music has added so much joy to my life.
I can't wait for your book to get published - I'll be the first in line to buy it (maybe you'll autograph it for me!). I wish you the best of luck and I support you in everything you pursue. Although I'm really psyched and excited about Pat's solo CD, I'm anxiously anticipating seeing you ALL on tour again (one day, soon...).

With Deep Admiration and Respect,
Janet

Jimmy,

I'm so excited about your book. Can't wait to read it! I think it's great you guys are doing your own things creatively. It will make your collaborations so much richer.

I'll always be greatful of your positive response to my paintings, which encouraged me to propose at show, that actually came to be!

I will stand by whatever you do, and look forward the book and whatever you do after that!

You are definitely one of my heros!

i've heard heaps about pat's upcoming solo album, your book and that train is heading back into the studio in march.
i was curious tho... will you be releasing your book in Australia? Because down here we seem to miss out. we need you guys to come tour down here again, we need a decent rock concert! so please come down under and bring some copies of your novel, please.
it all sounds interesting so i'm looking foward to it.
good luck with your novel and new album. can't wait.

Hi Jimmy.
The best thing about you (besides your tremendous musical talent)is that you, like me, are from the mid-west. You are good people and I am excited that you have the blog in order to communicate with your fans. As far as the book..I am not much of a book reader, I usually wait for the movie to come out, but I may make an exception in your case. Best of luck writing it.

I love Train. I am not sure how to express how much the music really means to me and how I "get" it; if that makes sense at all. I miss seeing you perform, but I know that everyone needs some time and change is a good thing. I have all my CD's to keep me company and remind me what you guys are all about. Thanks Jimmy!

Go Bears!!

hi everyone!!! i live in southern california and i am new to this blogging thingy but as a fan of Jimmy I thought i would give it a bug light shot! all my friends call me frankie! and my favorite color is fusia.

yes, pat shall deliver a worthy solo concoction, and Jimmy shall deliver an edible book for us to consume. ...done deal.

i think we all should figure a way to spread the word via the internet about Jimmy's book...Does anyone have any ideas on how to spread the word about the impending novel release? is there a working title to his book?

Jimmy;
It's such a pleasure to see someone in your position in life be as down to earth as you are, keep it up. I love the way you put "Father" first on your list of what you are in life, your daughter is sure to grow up very proud of her Dad.
I look forward to your book in 08, and to Pat's CD. Please don't leave us Train fans too long without a "fix".
sincerely,
Linda

hello

i am so new to this - i just wrote you a "post" however i must have sent it to cyberspace - because it is no where to be found.....as i was saying - i was so excited to find that there is a place for us non "myspace.com" users....

you truly are an amazing artist....i saw train twice in milwaukee last year, once at riverside theater (beautiful place, no?) and again in the summer at summerfest. i so enjoyed the show at riverside, however i was a bit further back than i had hoped, but heard you all just fine. at summerfest, i was so close that my ears rang for days, but man alive, it was great to stand there so close and sing with you all. i kept waving to you but you busy playing, go figure.

in my short 42 years of life, i have seen two concerts and they both were....guess? no, i am not a freak, i am huge music lover, foreigner, boston, elton, journey and of course, fleetwood mac, i just never have been motivated enough to go....i am waiting for you all to come back.

i was surprised that pat is doing a solo, i wish him luck...i grew up in erie, pa and it so neat to see someone from the area "make it". I wonder how he will do without you all....to me...you all are kinda like a package deal..to each his own and good luck again to you all.

i am excited about your book, i can guarantee a definte sale for you.

well, thanks for the ramble, not quite sure how this all works, but if you really do read this, i wish you great karma, bright lite and a healty life.

lifetime fan
judy
